How many guns can someone use at once? Is it really a function of the number of guns, or guns falling into the wrong hands? We are a very different nation today vs 1776. Everyone was an explorer or frontiersman, people had to work together to survive. The threat was a King and his army many thousands of miles away, not each other. We used to humiliate criminals, no one wanted to be that guy. Now people walk out of prison with PhDs.

I know a lot of veterans who would volunteer their time to protect those kids, they would take rounds unlike the typical school safety officer that ended up there because they sucked at being on the force. These veterans have already seen complex ambushes, been shot at, cleared rooms, etc. Never underestimate the tenacity of a volunteer, especially one that wore a flag.

What is the purpose of a gun free zone anyways? Sure, it expands the charges after the fact, but what does it really do other than make a soft target?
