I've commuted and been in base at Delta. I disagree with previous poster's statement. Living in base at Delta is better than commuting, but our commuting is better than in base for some airlines. Before the new reserve rules, I could be home 16 days off a month from a commute that was not a long call at home location. With 18 hr lc it's easily in the leash. I'd rather commute to reserve at Delta than be on reserve for UAL living in base from what I understand of their rules.
