Ah, okay! I finally think I get it. At least for my situation, where I can drive AUS to IAH, LCR would actually work as it should, since I can always drive 3 hours for a 13-hour callout!

I think I finally have everything I need to know. As previously suggested, if I do get to UA, I can go IAH 320 to start, then probably IAH WB within a couple of years, and I won't mind being on reserve because I can drive there!
