Thanks for the replies. I kind of expected some would direct a little flak but thats OK. The points I raised are pretty extreme. Actually I was not joking I just wanted to throw around a few unusual ideas to see if there might be a theoretical possibility they could work, since I don't know anything about aircraft engineering.

Finally, sure MS Flightsim's default aircraft are not very realistic, what I failed to mention was I use the Level-D 767 and PMDG 737 sims. They're the best sims out there for realism. But don't worry I know the captain would laugh me out of the cockpit if I offered my flying "services" to help him land the plane in an emergency. They are good sims tho.
