Therein lies the worst part of this industry. Doctors (or any number of other professions) get experience and switch jobs/locations because they get paid more. We get years of experience and get to start over at the bottom.

So what’s the cutoff for giving up seniority numbers, vs living in base, vs age…..it’s all some big formula we have to figure out at a personal level.

A National ALPA contract and seniority list would be one interesting experiment. (Could you imaging the fighting between the for/against crowd?)
