Maybe you're quick to forget that AA, like United, has hired something like 2000 pilots since hiring started back up. So, from the end of 2021, all through the huge growth of 2022, which continues today and you did.....nothing? I find it hard to believe that if you updated your apps or talked to a recruiter that you would not have heard back from AA for an interview. With all the 2000hr pilots getting picked up, I'm sure a United pilot with 3yrs experience would certainly get a shot.
This tells me that your breaking point was the contract and not so much the commute. Your emotions are running high right now, I get it. Just think it through. I'm sure driving to MIA would be better than commuting elsewhere.
