it’s funny. It’s as if the guppy pilots have a complex or something so they toss out the “The Bus does regional flying.” or “our layovers are better!” to make themselves feel better. As if what one persons preference for a layover is a universal constant. Well except MUC. Everyone loves a MUC layover.

I see plenty of guppies in SYR or ALB or the aforementioned -54 in BZN and other “undesired” locations. Heck, some deem downtown SEA or SFO or NYC or pick any major city as undesirable, yet I enjoy those.
As far as where the 321’s will be based… same type so any current Bus base will see them though the XLR’s are the designated 757 replacement so most likely primarily focused on EWR and IAD.
I just looked at the guy who’s one number jr to me in Den. He’s a 737 Capt so he’s actually about 10% senior in seat and fleet to me on the Bus. His month is almost exactly the same as mine except he’s got 1 HNL layover and one 4 leg day. I’ve got a couple of 3 leg days and the rest are 2 or 1 leg days, in May. My layovers are JAC x 2 a BZN, BUR, RIC and LGA. No DSM but he has a DSM. Just pointing out how similar our flying really is. With the occasional HNL being the only real difference.
