the NEOs will fly the 757 BOS/EWR transcons. The XLR will go to Europe and they will only have to ETOPS one fleet and one base of pilots. The Hawaii flying will be easily absorbed by additional MAXs.

The NEO’s will be delivered with ETOPs certification. Using them on transcons only would expire that cert and it’s expensive to recertify. ORCA won’t happen quickly because there are no PBCF numbers. Island fuel it is, so pacific is the probable plan.
