The airline is going to be much smaller.
I've been saying this exact thing. I think we will ultimately end up with 4000-4500 pilots tops. It will take about 4 years to get to this number with retirements / medicals / and a percentage of those on the bottom leaving. I do not believe there will be a mass exodus when the new contract is inked, no way. Guys will wanna make some money with the new pay rates. It's human nature. I do not see any hiring over the next 4 years.
