Envoy has all its own instructors. The first part is done by instructors that, like many places, may or may not have flown the 175 SOMEPLACE, but are NOT Envoy pilots. The last part, final procedure trainer periods and sim is done by instructors that were/are Envoy pilots. The non Envoy pilots can be hit and miss. The ones that are Envoy pilots are usually pretty good.

Sims are either owned or leased. Don’t know what the actual mix on those is anymore. Used to used a 190 sim in CLT that was AA’s and a couple at FSI in STL. I think all the sims being used now are in the vicinity of DFW.
