There's more than enough flying to support a base. At least 2 planes and likely 3 quite well, even including marketing's day by day and seasonal flux. Any new category would drive more training churn for a while though. Longer term it would help the forever unrealistic NYC basing models by offering relief into a base that would drive less churn.
Always a busy base when it was a domicile. 76's and 72's, actually flew 3 turns a day in the 300 BOS/YUL. All full.
