What you are describing is on every bid every seat and domicile is rerun. This would cause chaos and not 1 airline does it in this manner. Your seniority allows you to hold whatever you can hold on the vacancy bid. If there is no vacancies, then you have nothing to use your seniority for. If there are vacancies and you choose to not exercise your seniority, you can’t then complain when the following bid has no vacancies. You chose that.
Everyone needs to stop arguing and shut the front up over what WE agreed upon in contract 2015. Lesson learned, READ THE ENTIRE TA this time maybe, just maybe this won’t happen again next time. (Back to my not so lay flat seat…)
