Let me guess....that doesn't ever happen with you? I think my view from the start has been that there is no reason to be a d*ck in the cockpit. I've also conceded that there is a huge difference in someone with less experience and someone who is just lazy. Judging by the attitude, I doubt there is anything you could do to make me want to fly with you. I greatly appreciate a captain who is knowledgeable and interested in making me a better pilot. I do not appreciate someone who feels they are above another pilot, or demeaning.
Just so I have it straight for my Spirit interview....when they ask "what makes a good captain?", the answer is " someone who stares at their FO until they figure out what they missed, or tells them to "do their job"". Do I have that right?
Don't listen to these fools. 95% of people you fly with here are great, of course there's always the 5% of a$$ clowns and it seems that they're the most vocal on these forums. There's a reason there's always 2 of us in the flight deck, and that's to back each other up.
