Ooph… some doozies from our boy Russ here over the last year or so

Maybe be thankful for having a job at all...or that your job, well...is flying jets.

You’re flying jets and getting paid. Maybe it’s not glamorous or exactly where you want to be at the moment...but still one of the coolest jobs out there.…….. If being a regional airline pilot is so bad then leave and find something else that makes you happy. No one is stuck. I appreciate the factual information I get here...but the whining and non-stop badmouthing is terrible.

Oh Russ, with his life experience and orange smock who was fortunate enough to get hired at an inflection point in the phugoid cycle of the industry is going to advise me on the most egalitarian way to run my cockpit whilst reminding me not to complain too much as it’s really bumming him out. After all, we are still getting paid to fly shiny new jets and if we don’t like the way things are going, we can always just go do something less cool. Like selling building materials. For the life experience.
