Nevermind the fact that many, many union functions are currently done for free, by many gracious and dedicated volunteers.
Of course I know that. Yes, I do volunteer work, and no, I don't get paid for it nor take FPL.
I also think DALPA has way too many people using FPL, consistently way more than other MECs, often by a magnitude. DALPA has always been a country club and a less than stellar steward of our dues money. So I have little tolerance for them saying they can't afford things like contract compliance. If the ACE app isn't working (and a 6+ month backlog means it isn't working), then it's time to try something else. I know other MECs don't have a 6 month grievance backlog.
