Additionally when the new reroute rules go into effect on August 1, the ability to know immediately if you are due will make compliance and verification of compliance magnitudes easier. IOW rerouted - paid at 1.5 or 2x period. No need to check for how long a leg soaked or didn’t soak in open time. No need for special access to see when legs were assigned or available to be assigned etc. The MEC is also asking the scheduling team do do extra ALPA days this summer to clear out the backlog as the new rules become effective.
What does ACE do besides queue messages from pilots? My understanding at the beginning was that this would automate some/all of the work done to identify violations.

It seems that is not the case. Anyone know how much we are spending on this queue system?

Count me in with hockey pilot. I don’t find it unreasonable to question a system that is not able to keep up with the volume of violations.

Summary of status quo:

Company violates contract. Pilot maybe notices. Company only has to pay IF caught, proven wrong (using our resources) and then only after several months of an interest free loan. Unsat.
