What does ACE do besides queue messages from pilots? My understanding at the beginning was that this would automate some/all of the work done to identify violations.
It seems that is not the case. Anyone know how much we are spending on this queue system?
Count me in with hockey pilot. I don’t find it unreasonable to question a system that is not able to keep up with the volume of violations.
Summary of status quo:
Company violates contract. Pilot maybe notices. Company only has to pay IF caught, proven wrong (using our resources) and then only after several months of an interest free loan. Unsat.
It can automate stuff, but it needed access to DBMS, which it didn’t have until this new contract and even then, it’s deferred until the company and ALPA meet to hash out the timeline.
