Do it all the time to visit family. Did it when I was living in IND too to go work in ORD. Super easy drive. But it's outside of the SC range so that's something I wouldn't risk. But you get the SIDA badge at ORD so you can use the employee parking lot so driving isn't too bad. It's like 3 hours and 15 minutes, maybe less or more depending on traffic to ORD.

UA does give $35 a month toward parking, so you could use that for the $30 a month IND parking pass, but you would forfeit the SIDA badge ability. Or you could just pay the IND pass out of pocket.
