Fair enough. I missed that. I'm not sure net 1,700 is possible either. I think they'd be lucky to net 1,000 this year.
I have a good friend who retired from SWA recently after 20+ years and attempted the instructor gig. He got all the way through training and after a month threw in the towel. The schedule and overall experience fell far short of what they advertised. He was immediately hired at a local corporate outfit making a lot more than the instructor gig with no commute and very few layovers. This is not a rare story.
