This United commuting thing is scary stuff for someone from the outside looking in. It seems hard to believe it's so bad at a legacy but it certainly seems like a case of 'where there's smoke, there's fire', and there's a lot of smoke. So aside from the jumpseat senority issue, what makes it so bad? How do pilots handle the hardship; aside from moving to base? It seems like such a great opportunity but forum talk paints a heck of a picture...
