If I only had 0-3 yrs here I’d probably bite the bullet and at least toss the app in to see what happens. I’m in my 40’s and don’t feel like starting over and yanking gear for 20 yr olds who don’t have a clue how fickle this industry is….so I’m staying put.
that's kinda my situation also. Although I was JS on United the other day and the 1 yr FO was just awarded 787 instructor. so he flys the 787 1 trip a month then instructs the rest of the time. I would consider that if I lived closer to Stapleton.
I'm sure we'd solve the instructor problem if they would allow line guys to instruct.
if I was 20 yrs younger or only had a few yrs here I'd would have been gone last yr.
