There is a hotel in Waikiki that is somewhere in the $100/night range and waives the resort fee for HA people. Also has transportation to/from the airport (Uber is roughly $30 w/tip)

Might not be good for training, but once on line it may be better and cheaper than a crashpad?

I can't remember the name of the hotel but asking around might help
