I never said Delta pilots didn’t fly business class across an ocean. I said AA pilots have the same provision as Delta.
Maybe you’re just trolling me?
Whatever. Believe what you want to believe. Such a bizarre thing to double down on.
I'm simply trying to add accurate context for you guys/gals to use however you see fit. Our contract says DL plots fly in the "highest class of service" on the airplane on Ocean Crossing DH's, 100% of the time, or we don't go. If AA does that too, great.
I mean, I don't know what else anyone thinks the "one" in D1 is for?? If your definition for "IFC" is "Crazy rich Asians" or Etihad's A380 suites, then fine. Weird flex, but fine. Obviously no US airline has that. But I guarantee you all our "High Value Customers" think Delta One is a better-than-FC product, not 'biz'. And I guarantee you our Premium Sales Team doesn't call it "biz". They, and we, call it D1, or First.
But whatever, I'm not here to argue, only to add what sure seems/seemed like a misperception about another airline's policy as it relates to your negotiations. I'll go back to lurking now. Good Luck. I genuinely hope you knock it out of the park, and leave our contract in the dust.
