The "backed" up part is just an excuse to keep CA flows at the Regionals for a little longer during the summer rush. Yes, training wait times have increased a bit but they are no where near the length they were last year. However, to be fair they did not start increasing class sizes to above 45 until after the June announcement.
For what’s it’s worth, I think we are a little backed up because the delay for everyone in the May 17th class between indoc ending and aircraft training is 6+ weeks.
