That's assuming I don't take an upgrade that will literally pay my the same hourly rate on the RJ as what I would have gotten had I stayed and upgraded but yea you're right it's so much worse here.
I did not say an Alaska guy went to Delta wishes he was still at Alaska. I said a 2007 EDV flow to Delta on the ATL 737 hates it so much he wishes he was back at EDV.
As for AS, to each their own. I know guys who fly 15-16 days and have 14-15 off and pull 100+ hr credit every month. Once you figure out how to work the system (and the CA staffing good in base to allow flexibility), you can really make bank while maintaining overall days off.
