XJT. It's entirely possible I've flown with guys without one, but not to my knowledge. Literally, every single pilot I've flown with and actually discussed our background, had at least a 2 year degree, with most having a 4 year or higher. But, there are some who I have no idea what their background is, so it is possible. Of course regionals don't require it, but unless you want to be a lifer at a regional it makes sense to have one, not to mention it gives you options if you medical out or whatever.
