Glad I'm not the only one with this question. I think it's the nature of this forum though. I've got 10 good friends that I've worked with that are now at SWA and say they absolutely love it and have no plans on going anywhere else. I got a Delta interview but tbh I've never been interested in Delta or their culture and I don't anticipate the interview to change my mind on that.
I'm really looking forward to starting, but only time will tell who's experience is more accurate, the nay sayers on the forums or my friends.

If you like paying for your own airport parking and uniforms then SWA is the place for you.
If you like having an industry lagging Short Term and Long Term Disability then SWA is the place for you.
If you like being treated like a second class citizen when you go out on medical then SWA is the place for you.
If you like having to carry a food bag or like getting gouged buying airport food then SWA is the place for you.
If your like Long days 4-5 legs a day and short overnights then SWA is the place for you.
If your like being JA'ed into your days off then SWA is the place for you.
If you like having your Profit sharing check cut in half while the executives all give themselves bonuses then SWA is the place for you.
If you like having to picket because its been 994 days since your contract became amendable then SWA is the place for you.
If you like making less salary and less 401k contributions than your buddies at the big 3 then SWA is the place for you.
If you like being demoralized with constant meltdowns then SWA is the place for you.
If you like being threatened with Furlough Warn Notices just before Christmas and a few months later have those very leaders receive 10 million in bonuses then SWA is the place for you.
Strap in because once the CULTure Kool aid wears off you and your buddies will be kicking yourselves for not going to Delta.
