fair enough, but it’s worth noting that threshold is twice the annual accrual at AA (120 hours) and excludes times where you were out for a major injury. Each has its benefit. While I can definitely see the benefit of AAs system, especially if you can have several hundred hours in the bank to sell at 65, I prefer a system that does not encourage flying while iffy to keep your time to sell back later.
