Question for those who might know the answer -my first choice would've been 7ERB out of LAX but being that it is not offered for this class, would 7ERB (ATL or NYC) be a good choice to be able to get back in to LAX quickly?
Or would the 320B or 73NB make more sense for this purpose?

Thank you very much for any help on this matter...
That's a tough question to answer, as there is some risk associated as I'm sure you know. Obviously, 320 or 73 would be a sure thing, assuming you can hold it with your last 4 SSN.

There is a good chance you will be able to successfully bid via an AE on the yet-to-be-officially-announced June bid back to LA on the 7ER, but there is no guarantee there will be a slot, or that it would get down to your seniority (ALWAYS have a bid in regardless of what is published). One thing possibly helping your case is the closing/further displacement of the SEA 7ER base soon. Some of that flying will likely flow down to the LAX base which will require a small number of additional pilots. It really depends on how much importance you put on flying the 7ER vs. being in LA. If you are willing to commute for a time, go for the 7ER. But if you already live in LA and would have a long or double-leg commute to ATL or NYC, that might favor taking the 'sure thing'. Good luck, and welcome to Delta!
