On that note of the ER going away, I've been told that the same guys working on retrofitting the A320 screens are also working to upgrade the ER's Wx radar and integrate a speed tape on the attitude indicator display, so it seems like the current* plan is to keep then around for a little while

networking said the ER is around 2030-2032 retirement right now. Anyone bidding ER right now should have ease of mind. Something bad would have to happen making your bid irrelevant anyways for that to change
