Unfortunately closest towered field to my house is 40 minutes away and is government run.
This would be my choice.
Every time I got impatient early in my career and made an impulsive jump I regretted it. If you need a little cash to help stretch out your savings then a part time job will help you from making a similar impulsive move.
You have a plan, try to stick to your plan. Voice of experience talking here. This isn't just my advice in life, but in aviation too. Quick impulsive decisions that deviate from the plan are usually bad ones. Work on your patience. The so called pilot shortage isn't going anywhere until automation really makes a big leap. That's just a matter of time, but I don't believe we'll see it in this decade.
Good luck.
