That doesn't sound right at all. If any section 19 happened, It would be because of some sort of social media fiasco like crispy and his class mates back last year... I heard they got a STERN talking to in their ground class from the higher ups.
If you wash out, I am pretty sure its just a wash out type firing and not an actual 19.

A section 19 is a fact finding "investigation", it can obviously lead to discipline or termination but rarely does
Sounded strange to me when I heard it, but I've spoken with 2 FOs this week who have friends going through it right now. Union was in the meeting, union rep told one this was the first time they've been to a 19 for training, hoping somebody with actual information pipes in.
