It actually wasn't bad. It was broken up into two parts basically.

The first was the September 2022 and October 2022 pay. You just look back at what you credited for those months and take that credit and times it by the difference in new rates (75 hours each month and new rate is $40 higher, 150*40). IIRC, they cut a check for that a month after signing.

The second was credit for service. It was from 10/2021 - 8/2022 so 11 months. They paid each month active at $2000 for FO and $3000 for CA. New hire starting on 1/1/2023 would get 8 months so $16,000. FO who upgraded on 1/1/2023 would get 3 months at FO rate (3*2000) and 8 months at CA rate (8*3000) so $30,000 etc etc

For the second portion, ALPA put out a list with just employee numbers and gave the pilots a week or so to review that it matched what they believe they were owed. If there was a discrepancy, you could take it up with ALPA and the company before that payment was processed.
