The commuter policy is completely separate. If you have the required 1 online or 2 offline flights and don’t make it, there are no repercussions. It doesn’t count toward the dependability policy. You just don’t get paid.

I’m certainly not defending the B6 way. Just making sure we’re comparing accurate info.
As far as the sick policy goes, many of us are walking around with less than 10 hours total in our bank, with more than a decade’s worth of service, and never have received a call for explanation. So I’ll leave it at that when it comes to how we are not micro managed here on silly stuff like that

Since your dependability policy is outside your CBA, it probably is just rubber stamped US law which states an employer has a reasonable expectation of dependability for its employees. JBLU clearly wants to remind pilots of that, NK does not.
