I can have two flights that arrive 1 minute before show, and depart at the same time from different terminals, and it is a legal commute. And if by the time I get through to CS to tell them I didn't get on, and no flight will get me in position in time it is not my problem. EVER. Have I ever abused this? No. But why not? Because I am a professional and I don't need a dependability piece of BS to threaten me to do the job you hired me for.
