The commuter policy is completely separate. If you have the required 1 online or 2 offline flights and don’t make it, there are no repercussions. It doesn’t count toward the dependability policy. You just don’t get paid.
I’m certainly not defending the B6 way. Just making sure we’re comparing accurate info.
NK has no dependability policy. PERIOD. You might think it is awesome you can call out sick 4 times without a call. I've not heard of anyone at NK getting a call from the CP about sick leave. Not saying it hasn't happened, But in 10 years I haven't met a single pilot who got that call. Just maybe because DTZ we can manipulate our schedule better so we don't have to use that option, I don't know.
And your commute policy specifically states that if you miss your commute too often you CAN get a call regardless if you followed the rules. Maybe not happening too often, but it is black&white in your CBA. What is adverse weather, and how much additional time is enough. Please...
