I have a CJO with a class date in a few months. I had originally thought a 737 new-hire bid might be a good thing... but not likely to happen that soon.

Was also hoping to do some voluntary TAD across the system during my first year to shop the bases for my next (and hopefully last) household move (and for the soft money to augment the awful Year 1 pay), but it sounds like the 737's will be concentrated in the Florida bases, at least for the first few years?

Should the 737 training program be a concern, more-so than their established Airbus training? (I'm previously typed in neither.) What is the general plan for 737 training? Out-sourced? or building an internal program from scratch?

Will they eventually start retiring Airbus tails and replacing them with 737 tails? or too soon to say?
737 vacancies will most likely start being forced on new hires in the July or august NH classes. will be solidified in the early July vacancy for current pilots

the ONLY 737 bases will be SFB and PIE but the first 3-4 months will be ONLY SFB. if you get 737 expect a year of 70pch per month, there will be no TDYs. A third 737 base will be opened in late 2024 early 2025, currently rumored to be CVG (other options would be IND or GRR)

737 program is a newly developed in-house program from scratch, we will be the only airline doing primary training on the MAX and not doing difference a training after a classic type. We have smart people in charge of it, but you will be Guinea Pigs it’s a complete unknown factor.

we will be retiring some older 177 seat A320s and older A319s but are still purchasing mid life A320 and have interest in mid life 320NEOs starting in 2027, we will be a dual fleet airline for at least the next 10-15 years
