ATL is very efficient and mostly predictable, though 28 does come out of nowhere at times. Whole heartedly agree the terminals/food/employees make it a pain to fly through. Mix in plane swaps, reroutes and taking forever to get to an overnight van I’d prefer to stay away from ATL.
NYC is fine, until you get on the ground, then it’s a fairly miserable experience till you take off again.
28 makes perfect sense, you get it when you’re late, going into a quick turn or a plane swap, and it’s time to eat!
