That's the dysfunctional relationship between the association & the company rearing its head again. The company wants there to be a loophole, wherein a "message to call scheduling after block in" is to be interpreted as further expectation to fly, i.e., block in doesn't end the FDP.
Both the company and the association have decried the practice--but, here we are. Personally, I'd find the whole event rather...
