There appear to be many concessions in this TA, and of course we know how these contracts go, more concessions that were snuck in become obvious after implementation. I think people close to retirement will vote for it, and those further away having to live with the concessions, won't.
I'm not really hiding here... perhaps I'm not as well known as TonyC, but there are plenty on the triple that were happy I did their line checks over the last 5 years or so.
My retirement is in fact imminent and mandatory as I'm very rapidly approaching 65. So no, I'm not taking the extra 32K and running. I prefer to look in the mirror with some self respect knowing that I didn't abandon those who are following me.
