In case anyone was curious about current hiring from the applicant end - I applied and attended a MTC event in January, I meet mins, internal rec, I keep updating my app, etc. Not long after the MTC event, one of the base chiefs told me that "its only a matter of time [before you receive an invitation to interview]" so hopefully thats true. I am aware of the current pause in hiring due to phasing out of the Airbus.
Yesterday was the first I heard from recruiting. They sent this email:
