If promising an industry leading contract in 2 weeks that he couldn’t deliver in months is a “misstep”, it’s a doozy. I’d go so far as to say surprisingly dumb. If that was “ignorance or simple negligence”, 7 months in he’s proving extremely slow to learn from his mistakes. The reality is, he’s no idiot & he isn’t new to the airlines- he knows what an industry leading contract looks like, & if he even remotely wanted us to have one, we’d have had it a long time ago.

As for NPS, I’ve heard little about that over the past few months, & I assume there’s a reason for it. I’d be willing to bet those numbers are down from the same time last year & trending further in that direction. Guys may not be bringing vitriol to work, but I think most are in “fly airplane, get check, repeat” mode; which is far from SK’s recently stated vision for this airline. It’s almost as if “industry leading pilots at industry lagging conditions” is an irreconcilable goal. If after all we’ve seen, anyone still feels they need to “wait for the TA to assess the state of our management team”, I’d question their critical thinking skills.
