Having said that, there’s no magic number- 60, 65, 67, or 89- that’s going to apply to all individuals equally. If there’s one where average decline is most pronounced, I’m sure I don’t know what it is. What I do know is 67 will do about as much to solve the pilot crisis as 65 did. What is it they say about trying the same methods & expecting different outcomes?
There probably is not a demographic battle to be had because, most ALL pilots want to drop the mandatory age mandate.
It's the timing of the change where the rub comes in. They(most pilots) would support eliminating it about a year before they would hit the current limit(whatever that may be).
