FYI, while the 'Let Experienced Pilots Fly' AMENDMENT barely passed, once it was amended, HR3935 (FAA Reauthorization BILL) passed out of committee unanimously 63-0.
I noticed that as well and as far as I can see the only reasons for the senate mark up delay has to do with pilot training and flight rules in and out of DCA. Increase to Age 67 isn’t even mentioned as a deal breaker for a thumbs up passage.
