I specifically asked about YOUR last split second life or death decision. Were you the Captain on the plane that aborted?
I've done similar aborts in the simulator many times, as have all other airline pilots. You are not so subtly implying that pilot checkrides aren't rigid enough. Perhaps you can suggest a way to make them more difficult and try to get the FAA to enact a new system to evaluate pilot skills and ability.

Again, when was the last time you made a real life split second life or death decision in an aircraft where you were at the controls and saved the day?
