Baker Aviation is a home based 135 operator that is accepting applications from current or previously typed Citation X pilots who would like to join Team Baker flying an 8/6 schedule.
We are building a “squadron atmosphere” of liked minded pilots, target of approximately 30+ pilots who all are rowing in the same direction.
We have recurrent slots in early July we need filled (late cancellations) and are on the lookout for pilots who:
1. Like to fly; 50-80 hrs a month
2. Great customer service skills
3. Problem solving is a part of your DNA
4. Don’t mind working hard.
5. PIC time preferred but not required, SICs in the X are welcome to apply also.
6. Expected upgrade for experienced X SICs 3-6 months based upon progress, faster if you show you have the skills and temperament

Compensation:
* CA Base pay $100K + the following:
* $135 an hour for each hour flown
* $85/$135 domestic/international per diem
* $30 an hour added to T Rowe Price account at end of your year ($0 contribution match required by pilot)
Total compensation
$100K
$105,300 (65 hrs month, $135 an hour; 780 annual hours)
$22,500 - this is the IRS maximum for 2023 (profit sharing/401K) .
Total compensation
$227,800 for 2023-24 1st year,
2nd yr pay hourly rate increases to $145 an hour
If you volunteer to start a day early (Tuesday), $1500 for PIC and if kept out past go-home Day (Wed)
If you don’t take company health plan, additional $500 added monthly to paycheck

Under new ownership since last summer, last 2 months profitable thanks to sales, mx, pilots and leadership buying into the vision of the CEO, Tim Livingston.
We have 5 X’s on certificate, flying 4 lines and adding a 6th aircraft in a month.
How about maintenance?
Baker Aviation aircraft are averaging on the low side 150 hrs per plane, top bird is 180 hrs a month.
You can’t fly that many hours if you don’t have mx that is on top of things. Yes we do go AOG but when that happens…see below:
When planes break, spare X is used to fly parts/mx to fix or if spare is not available, first available commercial flight with Baker mx to fix plane by persons who know their airplanes since they work on them in FTW.
Genesis, ForeFlight, JetInsight (file our own flight plans) are our apps and they work great. We book our own hotels, rental or Uber (whatever makes sense).
