I’ve been here since the 10 minute turn , since I could go & help load bags & when my leader knew me by name . I’ve reopened the door at jet bridge to ensure a pilot got home for Christmas , sheltered & fed numerous employees who commute , saved a couple of lives through use of AED, notified pilots a few times of something unusual , only to find out there was a severe leak later , comforted numerous pax, babysat too many children to count & fed my crew members out of my bag ( I love to chef )i have given exemplary service, time ,& effort to a long career, while raising a daughter as a single mother (I averaged 150 Tfp +during college years) -I take offense at being called an aisle donkey -wouldn’t it be amazing if all 19.000 plus fa’s and pilots at swest & for that matter , all employees -united & supported one another -and gave respect as Herb said “treat each other with the Golden Rule” what amazing things we could accomplish -here’s to the pilots who lead with bad ass skill & kindness -who offer to help us get food , or sometimes clean , or offer an encouraging word
There are ****ty pilots and ****ty FAs, and neither should lead to bull**** remarks like aisle donkey's. Apologies that this is something you all have to address, and generally seems to come from people who seem to think everyone else is too thin skinned til it comes to their own being.
