After years in the military reserves, I have good friends at HAL, DAL, UAL, AA, SWA, ALASKA, JB, CATHAY, ATLAS. I have never heard one of them complain about the culture of their pilot group. Pilots are pilots generally. All companies are corporations in the end, responsible to their shareholders, customers, and employees. Some companies put those priorities in different orders, but at the end of the day, all pilots are just employees hired to move customers from pt A to B. This post should be a lesson to those looking for the future, pick a company that offers you the best QOL and $$$$, because basing a job on any other perceived factors is a fools errand in the end.
