I really think that they only way the ATP hours should be reduced is if they are flying in a crew within the system. Maybe a charter ops and make the restricted ATP 750-1000 hrs. Flying around the pattern in a 152 for 1500hrs hasn't helped anyone I've worked with become a better airline pilot. Just MHO
