Older people have a hard time processing non rev and more importantly they may not be standing within earshot when the gate agent yells “smith party of 1… ok moving on—brown party of 1.”
I did use a buddy pass on an intl trip one time and it worked out. When we arrived though, we were all rested and they were tired with a dash of suicidal. That’s the difference between D1 and economy on an intl flight!
i have never used an international Buddy pass. Are they eligible for D1? Obviously they’re further down the list, but if it’s there dothey get it?
Thanks
